Cleaning the debris out of a grapevine base is the first step to creating a beautiful wreath for your home. Some bases can be relatively clean while others have leaves and twigs dropping out onto the floor every time you handle the grapevine.
This is an outdoor task. We typically use a needle nose pliers, a small pair of wire cutters and a hard flat to debris our grapevine bases. While cleaning out the loose leaves and twigs, you should leave as much of the grapevine as possible. Why is this important? You will want to have adequate contact places inside the grapevine for the florals and greenery that you will later glue into the grapevine as you create your wreath design.
