Diane grew up on a farm in Missouri where Kara had frequent opportunities to spend extended time with her Grams, an expert in quilt making from start to finish and a creative seamstress with all things involving threads.
Kara is a busy mom with small children, a wife, and a co-owner of Heartland Wreath Shop. She enjoys family time, being a hockey mom, the creativity of card making and making unique party treats for kids' events. The home decor creative side kicks into gear in our shop as time allows.
Diane, the other co-owner of Heartland Wreath Shop, recently retired as World Language Coordinator working with teachers in a local district, a role she truly loved. She now spends more time with gardening, biking, grandchildren and working in all aspects of "The Shop".
We enjoy spending time together planning designs for the upcoming seasons and just taking care of the marketing and business side of Heartland Wreath Shop.
We follow the trends of home decor and hone our knowledge and skills in the principles of high quality designs. Our specialty niche is high-quality door and porch wreaths, door and lantern swags, bows and floral arrangements that our customers want and need to make their homes welcome landing spots for family and friends.
From creating unique wreaths and swags with our own flair to communicating clearly with each customer, our top priority is to provide consistently high value and timely service to each and everyone who makes a purchase from Heartland Wreath Shop
Our small reliable and trustworthy duo team has complementary skill sets to take on the many tasks of a small business. In addition to our experience in banking and bookkeeping we are detailed list makers, so between the two of us our goal is that nothing slips through the cracks and that our customers have a smooth and rewarding shopping experience with our Heartland Wreath Shop.
